  • How does our school staff access the funds?
    Throughout the year our staff may submit a Grant Application for consideration to receive financial support. Once received, the application will be reviewed by the board and discussed and voted on at our public board meetings.
  • What attributes are preferred for requests?
    Projects addressing a specific educational need that is not currently or is inadequately funded by district resources; Projects that foster creativity, development of critical thinking skills, and/or promote the Dual Immersion experience; or Projects that enrich our current school program such as Art, Music, Dance, Computer Science, Science and Physical Education.
  • What will we not consider?
    Projects made in support of operations or programs outside of Patrick Henry Elementary; Project that influence legislation or the outcome of any election, or to political campaigns; Projects for which PHF would be responsible for implementation; and Projects falling under the mission and scope of other school organizations.
  • Is Patrick Henry Foundation a non-profit?
    PHF is a registered non-profit organization and managed entirely by parent volunteers that want to make Patrick Henry an exciting place to learn for their children.
  • Can I volunteer?
    Of course! It takes a village! We are continually seeking dedicated individuals with a range of expertise to serve on our Board and Committees or help at various events.
