How does our school staff access the funds?Throughout the year our staff may submit a Grant Application for consideration to receive financial support. Once received, the application will be reviewed by the board and discussed and voted on at our public board meetings.

What attributes are preferred for requests?Projects addressing a specific educational need that is not currently or is inadequately funded by district resources; Projects that foster creativity, development of critical thinking skills, and/or promote the Dual Immersion experience; or Projects that enrich our current school program such as Art, Music, Dance, Computer Science, Science and Physical Education.

What will we not consider?Projects made in support of operations or programs outside of Patrick Henry Elementary; Project that influence legislation or the outcome of any election, or to political campaigns; Projects for which PHF would be responsible for implementation; and Projects falling under the mission and scope of other school organizations.

Is Patrick Henry Foundation a non-profit?PHF is a registered non-profit organization and managed entirely by parent volunteers that want to make Patrick Henry an exciting place to learn for their children.

Can I volunteer?Of course! It takes a village! We are continually seeking dedicated individuals with a range of expertise to serve on our Board and Committees or help at various events.
