How does our school staff access the funds?

Accepted Answer

Throughout the year our staff may submit a Grant Application for consideration to receive financial support. Once received, the application will be reviewed by the board and discussed and voted on at our public board meetings.

Question 2

What attributes are preferred for requests?

Accepted Answer

Projects addressing a specific educational need that is not currently or is inadequately funded by district resources;
Projects that foster creativity, development of critical thinking skills, and/or promote the Dual Immersion experience; or
Projects that enrich our current school program such as Art, Music, Dance, Computer Science, Science and Physical Education.

Question 3

What will we not consider?

Accepted Answer

Projects made in support of operations or programs outside of Patrick Henry Elementary;
Project that influence legislation or the outcome of any election, or to political campaigns;
Projects for which PHF would be responsible for implementation; and
Projects falling under the mission and scope of other school organizations.
