STEM LAB & STEM CURRICULUM
STEM Education allows our students to analyze, discover, problem-solve, and get creative through problem-based learning. By using this approach in the lab, students can be risk-takers, critical thinkers, and innovators to solve real-world challenges. Done through a combination of learning strategies, students discover the nature of a problem, analyze, and understand the variables involved to gain new perspectives.
Starting in the 2022-2023 school year, we are thrilled to have Shared Science on campus for STEM Lab Days, a STEM lab program that will allow all students time for hands-on learning and experimentation. The program touches on core concepts of the Amplify curriculum and meets NGSS/CDE standards for a well-rounded science education throughout the school year.
STEM Lab Days kicks off the week of September 26th! You can learn everything about STEM Lab Days at PHF Info Night on Wednesday, September 21st at 6pm in the Henry cafeteria!

Volunteering in the STEM Lab is a great way to meet teachers and help foster the love of STEM in our kids as you assist them with fun, hands-on activities. A VIPS badge is required.
